The work of Savile Row star, Richard Anderson, appears this week as part of the exhibition, Fleece to Fashion - a unique exhibition celebrating 200 years of Australian Merino Wool Textiles and Fashion.
Many of Richard Anderson's gorgeous suits are made from stunning weaves of pure Australian merino wool.
The pictured suit highlights both the exemplary quality and beauty of the fabric, as well as the skills and craftsmanship of its maker. Richard's decades of experience as a cutter and tailor on Savile Row have armed him with the ability to work masterfully with even the trickiest of fabrics. Richard's protege, Australian born Rebecca Devlin, has long known the beauty and comfort of Australian Merino Wool, from her days living in regional Victoria. Rebecca's pride in Australian product often leads the House of Richard Anderson to favour wool from our Commonwealth friends.
The exhibition, hosted by Australian Wool Innovation and featuring Richard Anderson's work, is on at 16 Lower Thames Street, London, EC3R 6DX.
