DIAMOND CHIP A cloth that could not have been imagined in the Savile Row of times past; only the incredible vision of the manufacturer combined with the latest high technology equipment has made production of this fabric possible.

Made from Super 150's Worsted, this cloth is extraordinarily fine and luxurious wool, mixed with lustrous pure silk and genuine diamond fragments from a renowned diamond cutter in Antwerp. The fragments are dispersed and blended with the wool fibres prior to the spinning process. The result is a collection of fabrics with a unique sheen and delightful handle.

GOLD TREASURE Similar spinning and weaving techniques have been used to produce another extraordinary material. Fibres of 22 carat gold are woven into Super 150's worsted making a fabric with a look of its own. The gold glitters discreetly as a stripe or check on muted dark colours such as black, navy and grey. The handle and texture are superb.

LAPIS LAZULI The final cloth in this collection is equally remarkable. Lapis Lazuli, the world's oldest precious stone has been combined with a Super 150's yarn blended with cashmere to create the Lapis Lazuli collection. Some of the cloths carry distinctive lapis stripes and subtle checks, others are more sober with a feint shimmer of blue or a deep colour unobtainable with dyes.

Prized by man for more than 6,000 years, Lapis Lazuli was the stone from which the breastplate of King David was made; the vivid blue colour led the Sumerians to believe carrying it was like carrying with them the presence of God; the ancient Romans believed it to be an aphrodisiac and both they and the Greeks awarded it to their most brave warriors. This range is outstanding for the clever, tasteful use of colour in an exquisite cloth.
